(2020. 04. 12 Sunday) Gospel Project for Youth - Alive in Christ

1. When is the last time you’ve sacrificed something you loved for someone else? Would you do the same for someone who hates you?

Many times for me, it was giving money to those who were in need. This example is memorable for me because I am a poor student and it often requires sacrifice to give!

Would I do the same for someone who hates me? I have been scammed of a bit of money once and it did not feel good at all... Would I still give it to him? By the grace of God I was able to come to the conclusion of, “Yes!” Because this man needed it much more than I did. However, would I still be able to confidently say yes, if this man was a millionaire? I do not know...

But God loved us while we were yet sinners, and Christ died for us! That is amazing grace!

2. Why do we often listen to the story of Jesus’ love and sacrifice with apathy?

There are many reasons so you would have to discuss and find why it might be so for you. However, when we realize we were once dead in sin, and now alive in Christ, we cannot help but celebrate the gospel message singing, “Hallelujah!”

3. How can we share this good news during the time of social-distancing?

Today, thousands of believers around the world will be posting their testimonies in social media with the hashtag #Jesuschangedmylife, I encourage you to do the same! Share your testimony in social media, ask your friends for prayer requests, help those who are struggling in the midst of the virus, these are all ways that can open up doors for you to share the gospel!
