Family talk 1) How did Jesus fight temptation?

예수님은 어떻게 사탄의 유혹을 이기셨나요?

Satan didn’t want God’s plan for salvation through Jesus to be fulfilled. So he tempted Jesus to sin. However, Jesus fought the temptation by obeying the Word of God. He became the lamb of God that was flawless and sinless to be sacrificed for our sins by obeying God perfectly. Tell your kids that Jesus took away ”our sins” and gave “His holiness and righteousness” to us.

사탄은 예수님이 죄를 지으심으로 에수님을 통해 이루실 하나님의 계획과 뜻이 이루어지지 못하도록 예수님을 시험했습니다 사탄의 세가지 시험을 예수님은 기록된 ”하나님의 말씀”으로 물리치시며 시험을 이기십니다. 하나님께 온전히 순종하심으로 죄를 짓지 않으셨던 예수님은 우리의 죄를 대신하여 죽으실 흠없고 죄없는 어린양으로서의 사명을 온전히 감당하셨습니다. 우리의 죄를 위한 완전한 희생제물이 되심으로 우리의 죄악을 대신 지시고 죽으시고 그분의 죄없음과 완전하신 의를 우리에게 주신 예수님에대해서 말해주세요.

2) How can we fight temptation?

우리는 어떻게 유혹을 이길 수 있을까요?

Tell your kids that we need to fight against temptations as Jesus did by obeying God. We are weak that we fall into temptation so many times. But, our hope is that Jesus understands our weaknesses because He had experienced temptations. Jesus who overcame the temptation would be with us and give us strength to fight against the temptations.

하나님의 말씀에 온전히 순종하심으로 유혹을 이기신 예수님처럼 우리도 하나님께 순종함으로 유혹을 이겨내야 함을 설명해주세요. 우리는 연약해서 늘 유혹에 빠지고 죄를 짓고 실패감을 느낄때가 수도 없이 많겠지만, 우리가 가진 소망은 예수님이 우리와 모든 일에 똑같이 시험을 받으셨기때문에 우리의 약함을 모두 이해하신다는것, 그리고 그 모든 시험을 이기신 예수님이 우리와 늘 함께 하시며 시험을 이길 힘을 주신다는 것을 말해주세요.

3) Read Hebrews 4:14-16

“Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭4:14-16‬ ‭NIV‬‬

히브리서 4:14 - 16 14. 그러므로 우리에게 큰 대제사장이 계시니 승천하신 이 곧 하나님의 아들 예수시라 우리가 믿는 도리를 굳게 잡을지어다 15. 우리에게 있는 대제사장은 우리의 연약함을 동정하지 못하실 이가 아니요 모든 일에 우리와 똑같이 시험을 받으신 이로되 죄는 없으시니라 16. 그러므로 우리는 긍휼하심을 받고 때를 따라 돕는 은혜를 얻기 위하여 은혜의 보좌 앞에 담대히 나아갈 것이니라
