1. Why we don’t have to worry about our needs?

: 우리는 왜 우리가 필요한 것에 대해 걱정할 필요가 없을까요?

God is pleased when we pray to God for our needs, but God doesn’t want us to be overwhelmed by our anxiety. We are always focus on our needs and worried of so many things everyday. Jesus said, our Father in heaven knows every thing we need even before we ask. Knowing that we have the Father in heaven who knows all we need and trusting that He cares for us, we have peace in Him and be always gratedul.

하나님은 우리가 우리의 필요에 대해 하나님께 구하며 기도하는 것을 기뻐하시지만, 우리가 걱정에 억눌리는 것을 원치 않으십니다. 우리는 항상 우리의 필요와 수많은 삶의 문제에 대해 걱정합니다. 예수님께서는 하늘에 계신 우리의 아버지가 우리가 구하기도 전에 우리에게 필요한 모든 것을 아신다고 말씀하셨습니다. 우리의 모든 필요를 아시는 하나님 아버지가 계시다는 것을 앎으로, 그리고 하나님이 우리를 돌보신다는 것을 신뢰함으로, 우리는 하나님 안에서 평안을 누리고 항상 감사할 수 있습니다.

2. What do we have to ask first?

우리는 기도할 때 먼저 무엇을 구해야 합니까?

Last week, we learned the Lord’s prayer. Jesus taught us first to pray “Hallowed be God’s name” and “God’s kingdom come, God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven”. Jesus taught us not to pray first for our daily bread or other needs, but to pray first for God’s kingdom. Jesus taught us to seek God’s kingdom first and then He will add every other thing to us. Asking God’s kingdom is admitting His Kingship and seeking His everlasting reign on earth as it is in heaven. We should ask His Kingdom first before we ask for other things.

지난 주에 우리는 주기도문에 대해 배웠습니다. 예수님은 우리에게 “아버지의 이름이 거룩히 여김을 받으시오며, 나라가 임하옵시며 뜻이 하늘에서 이루어진 것 같이 땅에서도 이루어 지이다”라고 먼저 기도하라고 하셨습니다. 우리의 일용할 양식을 구하기 전에, 우리의 다른 필요들을 구하기 전에, 먼저 하나님의 나라를 구하라고 하신 것입니다. 예수님은 우리에게 먼저 하나님의 나라를 구하면 그가 다른 모든 것을 우리에게 더하신다고 가르치십니다. 하나님의 나라를 구하는 것은 왕되신 하나님의 주권을 인정하는 것이며 하나님의 영원하신 통치가 하늘에서 이루어 진 것처럼 땅에서도 이루어지기를 구하는 것입닏. 우리는 다른 모든 것을 구하기 전에 하나님의 나라를 먼저 구해야 합니다.

3. Where do we have to store up our treasure?

우리는 어디에 우리의 보화를 쌓아두어야 합니까?

Jesus taught us not to store up our treasure on earth, thinking we are going to live on this earth forever to enjoy all our treasures. Jesus told us to store up our treasure in heaven that is eternal. If we hold tight the earthly treasure, we will lose the everlasting and most precious treasure, Jesus Christ. We have to live a life, desiring for the eternal life that is going to be with our most precious treasure, Jesus Christ.

예수님은 우리에게 이 땅에 영원히 살 것 처럼 이땅에 보화를 쌓아두지 말고 영원한 천국에 보화를 쌓아두라고 말씀하십니다. 우리가 이 땅에 보물에 마음을 두고 그것만을 붙들다보면 우리는 우리의 가장 소중하고 영원한 보물 예수 그리스도를 잃게 됩니다. 우리는 우리의 가장 소중한 보배 예수님과 함께 할 영원한 삶에 소망을 두고 살아야 합니다.
