1. Talk about specific ways Jesus said in His sermon believers should live. (Matthew 5-7)

예수님이 산상수훈에서 말씀하신 “믿는자로서 어떻게 살아야 하는지”를 구체적으로 이야기해보세요 (마태복음 5-7)

In Matthew 5-7, Jesus taught specifically how to live as a believer. Read through it and mention all Jesus’ commands for believers. Talk about this teaching whether it is easy or not to follow.

마태복음 5-7 에서 예수님은 믿는 사람으로서 어떻게 살아야 하는지 구체적으로 나열하십니다. 아이와 함께 읽으면서 예수님의 가르침을 찾고 아이와 함께 말해보세요. 이 가르침을 지키면서 사는것이 쉬운지 어려운지 아이와 함께 대화해 보세요.

2. Who will help us live the way God wants us to live?

It is hard to follow all of Jesus’ teachings because of our weakness and sinfulness. Tell your kids that it is impossible for us to live our life with the ways Jesus taught with our own strength. We have to fully rely on the Holy Spirit for help. To live as a believer of Christ, we have to ask God’s help to live a life that honors God and glorifies him.

Emphasize that the way of life Jesus taught is not a requirement for being accepted by God. We are saved by Grace and we are to ask God to live a life that is worthy of the salvation that God gave as gift of Grace.

우리의 연약함과 죄성때문에 예수님의 가르침대로 사는 것은 참 어려운 일입니다. 아이에게 우리는 우리의 힘으로 예수님이 가르치신대로 살아갈수 없다고 말해주시고, 그렇기 때문에 우리는 성령님의 도우심을 늘 의지해야한다고 말해주세요. 예수님을 믿는 사람으로서 우리는 하나님을 경외하고 영광돌리는 삶을 살기 위해 하나님의 도우심을 구해야 함을 말해주세요.

아이에게 예수님의 이 가르침과 명령이 하나님께 받아들여지기 위한 조건이 아니라는것을 강조해주세요. 우리는 은혜로 구원받은 사람들이기 때문에, 은혜로 구원받은 사람들로서 예수님이 말씀하신 삶을 살기위해 날마다 하나님 앞에 나아가야함을 말해주세요.
