1. Why did Jesus come to the world?
예수님은 왜 이 땅에 오셨나요?
God created man in His own image, but man fell into sin and sin separated man from God. But God still loved them so much that He made a plan to save them from sin and the consequence of sin (death) through His one and only Son. For thousands years, the coming of messiah was prophesied through incidents and prophets. And in the fulness of time, God sent Jesus Christ to the earth.
For God so love the world that He gave His only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life (John 3:16).
To save man who had to die because of sin, Jesus came to this world as human and lived a perfect life that we can never live to give himself as holy and perfect sacrifice once for all. It is for us to be reconciled with God and to have eternal life in Him.
: 하나님은 인간을 하나님의 형상을 닮은 존귀한 존재로 창조하셨지만, 인간은 죄에 빠져 하나님과 단절되었습니다. 하지만 하나님은 여전히 인간을 사랑하셔서 그 독생자 예수 그리스도를 통한 구원의 계획을 세우십니다. 수천년에 걸쳐 인간을 구원할 메시야의 오심은 많은 구약의 사건들과 선지자를 통해 예표되고 예견되었고, 때가 차매, 하나님은 그 독생자 예수 그리스도를 이 세상에 보내십니다.
하나님이 세상을 이처럼 사랑하사 독생자를 주셨으니 이는 저를 믿는 자마다 멸망치 않고 영생을 얻게 하려 하심이라 (요한복음 3:16)
죄로 인하여 죄가운데 죽을 수밖에 없는 우리를 구원하시기 위하여 이 땅에 인간의 몸으로 오신 예수님은 이 땅에서 죄없는 완전한 삶을 사시고 흠이 없는 제물로서 단번에 모든 이들의 죄를 위한 희생제물로 드려지기 위하여 이 땅에 오셨습니다. 그리하여 우리가 하나님과 화목케 되고 영원한 삶을 얻도록 하셨습니다.
2. How did Jesus come to the world?
예수님은 어떻게 이 땅에 오셨나요?
As it was prophesied in Isaiah 7:14 (Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel), Mary who was engaged to Joseph ( a descendent of David) was conceived by the power of Holy Spirit and gave birth to Jesus in a manger in Bethlehem. The king of all kings left His heavenly throne and came to the lowest place in the earth as a little baby.
이사야 7:14절에 예언된 것 처럼 (그러므로 주께서 친히 징조를 너희에게 주실 것이라 보라 처녀가 잉태하여 아들을 낳을 것이요 그의 이름을 임마누엘이라 하리라), 다윗의 후손 요셉과 정혼한 처녀 마리아가 성령의 능력으로 예수님을 잉태하였고, 여관에 방이 없어 베들레헴의 한 마구간에서 출산을 하게 됩니다. 만왕의 왕이신 예수님께서 하늘 보좌를 버리고 이 땅에서도 가장 낮고 초라한 곳에서 아기의 몸으로 이 땅에 오신 것입니다.
3. How do we have to celebrate Christmas?
우리는 어떻게 성탄절을 기념하여야 할까요?
The culture in this world let children think that Christmas is all about having fun and receiving gifts. Tell your children that Christmas is the day when Jesus left His heavenly throne and came to the very low place as a little baby. Tell them that it is because of God’s love for us and for you (point them). Let them decide to celebrate Christmas by giving thanks to Jesus. The wise men came from very far to give their best gift to Baby Jesus and worshiped Him. Talk about how we can give our best to Jesus and worship Him. If you have a Christmas tree, let them hang a thankyou letter for Jesus on the tree.
이 땅의 문화는 아이들이 성탄절을 그저 즐기며 선물을 주고받는 날이라고 생각하도록 만듭니다. 성탄절은 하나님이신 예수님이 하늘의 보좌를 버리시고 이 땅의 가장 낮은 곳으로 아기의 모습으로 오신 날임을 말해주세요. 이것은 우리를 향한 하나님의 사랑 때문에 우리를 구원하시기 위함이라고, 바로 너를 위해서라고, 너를 사랑하셨기 때문이라고 아이에게 말해주시고 성탄절을 그런 예수님께 감사하며 보내기로 다짐해보세요. 동방박사들은 아기 예수님의 탄생을 축하하기 위해서 아주 먼 곳에서 가장 좋은 선물을 가져와 드리고 경배한 것 처럼, 우리도 예수님께 어떻게 가장 좋은 경배를 드릴 수 있을 지 이야기해보세요. 크리스마스 트리가 있다면 트리에 예수님께 쓴 감사 편지를 걸어놓게 해주세요.
