1. What is the kingdom of God like accroding to the parables Jesus told in Matthew 13?

마태복음 13장에서 예수님이 말씀하신 비유를 통해 알 수 있는 하나님 나라의 특징은 무엇입니까?

In Matthew 13, Jesus compares the kingdom of God to a mustard seed and to yeast. Mustard seed was the smallest seed planted in the region, but it glew tall and big for birds to nest in. Jesus was teaching that although God’s kingdom started out small with Jesus and a few disciples, it grows and spreads. We still witness this growth today. Yeast is mixed into flour. In time, yeast causes a dense ball of dough to grow and rise. GOD’s kingdom grows in a similar way, moving throughout the world and changing lives.

마태복음 13장에서 예수님은 하나님의 나라를 겨자씨와 누룩에 비유하십니다. 겨자씨는 그 지역에서 심는 가장 작은 씨앗으로써, 씨앗중 가장 작은 것이지만 크게 자라나서 새들이 둥지를 틀 수 있는 나무가 됩니다. 예수님은 비유를 통해 이와 같이 하나님의 나라도 이 땅에서는 예수님과 몇 제자로 시작하는 작은 것으로 보이지만 크게 자라나고 퍼진다는 것을 가르치셨고 오늘날 우리 또한 그것의 증인이 되었습니다. 누룩 또한 빵을 만들 때 밀가루에 섞는아주 적은 것이지만 때가되면 자라고 부풀어 밀가루를 빵을 만들 수 있는 반죽으로 만듭니다. 하나님의 나라도 이와 같이 세상에서 변화를 일으킵니다. 예수님이 말씀하신 비유를 통해 하나님의 나라가 어떠한 것인지 아이와 대화를 나누어보세요.

In the parable of the hidden treasure and the priceless pearl, Jesus taught about the value of God’s kingdom. A man came across a treasure buried in a field and sold all he had to buy the field. A merchant, finding a priceless pearl, sold all he had to buy it. Jesus taught that the kingdom of heaven is so valuable, we would be wise to give up everything in order to have it.

밭에 숨겨진 보물과 값진 진주를 발견한 사람의 비유를 통해 예수님은 하나님 나라의 가치에 대해 가르치셨습니다. 밭에서 보물을 발견한 사람은 그 보물의 가치를 알았기에 그가 가진 모든 것을 팔아서라도 사야할 것을 알았습니다. 값진 진주를 발견한 사람은 그 진주의 진가를 알아보았기에 그가 가진 모든것을 팔아서 그 진주를 샀습니다. 하나님의 나라의 진리를 발견한 우리는 그 진리에 어떻게 반응해야 할지 아이와 함께 대화를 나누어보세요.
