1. What did the passover meal celebrate?
유월절 만찬을 지키는 것은 어떤 의미가 있었나요?
The passover meal was a meal God commanded for every Israelite family to observe each year. It was for them to remember God delivering them from Egypt and saving their first-born sons with the blood of lamb. Like the passover lambs that were sacrificed to save the lives of the Israelites, Jesus was sacrificed to save His children from their sins. What the sacrifice of the Passover lamb could not do-take away sins once for all- the perfect Lamb of God accomplished.
유월절을 지키는 것은 하나님이 이스라엘 사람들에게 매년 지키라고 명령하신 것이었습니다. 이것은 하나님이 이스라엘 백성들을 에굽의 압제에서 자유케 하시고 양의 피를 문에 바르게 하심으로써 장자들이 목숨을 잃는 10번째재앙에서 구원하신 일을 기억하기 위함이었습니다. 예수님 또한 유월절 양으로써 우리를 죄와 사망으로부터 구원하시기 위하여 희생당하셨습니다. 유월절 양이 할 수 없었던 우리 모두의 죄를 단번에 용서하는 일을, 흠없고 죄없는 완전한 희생제물 되신 예수님께서 이루셨습니다.

예수님은 빵을 쪼개시며 그것이 우리를 위하여 찢기시고 깨어지실 예수님의 육체를 의미하며, 포도주는 우리를 위하여 흘리실 예수님의 피를 의미한다고 하셨습니다.
3. Why is it important to remember what Jesus did for us?
“In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me." For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.”

Believers take the Lord’s supper to remember what Jesus did for us in His death and resurrection. We remember God’s love and faithfulness and share what He has done for us to all people.
그리스도인들은 주의 만찬을 행하며 예수님이 그의 죽음과 부활을 통하여 우리에게 하신 일들을 기억해야합니다. 빵을 나누어 먹으며 우리를 위하여 찢기신 예수님의 육체를, 포도주를 나누어 마시며 우리를 위하여 흘리신 예수님의 피를 기억합니다. 그것을 통해 우리를 향한 하나님의 사랑과 신실하심을 기억하고 모든 이들에게 그 사랑을 전해야 합니다.
